Responsible Business Advisor – UK Law Firm – Hybrid Working

An award winning law firm is looking to hire a Responsible Business Advisor to join the busy Liverpool office on an initial 12 Month FTC.  The candidate will be joining the wider creative team across five key areas: Community Engagement, Pro bono, Inclusion, The Arts & Sustainability across the UK offices.  Standard hours are 9.30am – 5.30pm plus a generous salary and agile working is on offer, plus fantastic benefits.

 

Responsibilities for the Responsible Business Advisor will include coordinating benchmarking applications, e.g. Stonewall WEI, Social Mobility Foundation Index, Mansfield Rule UK and Mindful Business Charter, drafting board reports/papers, analyse and present data and design PowerPoint presentations to communicate key messages, delivering social mobility work experience scheme, insight days and mentoring programme, leading the Community and Charity Committee, whose remit includes fundraising and donations, volunteering, as well as maintaining relationships with key community partner organisations, reviewing programme elements as necessary to incorporate feedback, ensure they continue to deliver intended outcomes and remain market leading, managing and attending certain committee meetings including drafting agenda, minutes and co-ordinating actions, motivating and empower committee and network members to share ideas, engage in and support the delivery of the wider programme.  Other duties will include the involvement in projects identified as priorities in the Responsible Business strategic plan each year, leading where appropriate, general queries relating to the programme, resolving where possible and escalating when necessary.

 

Candidates must have previous experience working in Responsible Business  / D&I / Sustainability within a professional services firm with solid experience in corporate citizenship and community engagement.  Excellent written, organisation and communication skills are needed, plus the ability to create and have extensive social media experience in addition to strong Microsoft Office experience.  A generous salary is on offer, plus fantastic benefits.
