This prestigious international law firm is looking to hire an experienced legal Revenue Controller on a permanent basis.

Generous FT salary of up to £50,000

Hours – 9.30am – 5.30pm, working 3 days in the office, 2 remote

 

The Revenue Controller will directly support Partners and Fee Earners across their Construction and Real Estate Disputes groups.

 

The firm are keen to hire a Revenue Controller / Credit Controller who is comfortable coming into a busy environment and hit the ground running, preferably having a working knowledge of Elite 3E.

 

Reporting into the Revenue Manager, the Revenue Controller will be responsible for

 

  • Preparing and processing invoices, e-bills, ensuring that all bills are checked for numerical accuracy and compliance with all relevant VAT, SRA and AML guidelines.
  • Responding to Partners across London office, handling emails relating to all client billing issues and requests
  • Handling time transfers, edits, write-offs of irrecoverable time and disbursements.
  • Arranging regular WIP and Aged Debt meetings with Partners to ensure all client billing and incoming monies are being recorded
  • Raising any conflicting matters accordingly and communicated with the Revenue Manager
  • Pro-actively chasing clients for payment to ensure invoices are promptly settled

 

Candidates will have a minimum 3 years’ legal revenue control and/or legal billing experience working for a recognised law firm.

 

You will have an excellent working knowledge of Elite 3e, Excel and various e-billing platforms. A strong knowledge of VAT, SRA and AML guidelines is also essential.
