Bids Executive – City Law Firm – Agile Working

A prestigious city based close to Cannon Street station is looking to hire a Bids Executive on a permanent basis to support their firmwide practice groups. This is an exciting opportunity for a current Bids Executive with strong bids and pitch experience to support their BD strategy and streamline their tenders and pitches documents and processes. The firm is currently working a 60:40 split in the way of agile/home working, standard hours are 9.30am – 5.30pm and a salary of £50,000 is on offer plus fantastic benefits.

 

Reporting into the Head of Business Development & Marketing, this exciting and varied Bids Executive opportunity will see the successful individual support the Business Development & Marketing teams on a broad range of initiatives. Acting as the main point of contact for the department, you will be involved in:

  • Produce bespoke bids, panel pitches and other client development presentations and tender delivery
  • Lead strategy and coaching around specific client opportunities with lawyers
  • Carry out post-pitch reviews with the lawyers and store the feedback on database • Deliver timely and valuable reports to support client targeting and engagement • Utilising the CRM system to collate information on clients and producing briefing notes for partner conferences, speaker events and/or business development trips/client meetings • Support the promotion of cross selling initiatives with other practice and industry groups and delivery of targeted BD and marketing campaigns
  • Supporting the updates to the firm’s website and intranet
  • Support with timely directory submissions

To be considered for this opportunity you will possess a degree, ideally in either Marketing, Business, English, Communications or studying towards a recognised marketing qualification. You will have minimum of 3 years current bids / business development experience, preferably in a law firm. The role will involve a lot of organisation and creative skills it is therefore essential that you have first class communication skills and always possess a positive and enthusiastic approach.
