Our client is a leading global law firm – they are now looking to recruit a Senior Early Careers Adviser to join their expanding HR team in London.

The Early Careers team are responsible for delivering all graduate recruitment and development activities for their London Trainee Solicitors as well as the recruitment and development activities relating to the firm’s Solicitors Apprenticeship programme.

The standard hours are 9.30am to 5.30pm. The salary on offer is up to £52,500 + Benefits. This role is a permanent position, and the client are currently using a hybrid working approach.

This is a fantastic Senior Early Careers Adviser opportunity to join a highly regarded City Law firm!

Responsibilities as a Senior Early Careers Adviser:

• Maintaining contact with future Trainees
• Key point of contact for law school (University of Law) regarding students
• Assisting with the firm’s transition to the SQE
• Ensuring any Visas are in place for new joiners
• Responsible for onboarding of new Trainee Solicitors
• Ensuring all SRA registration is completed for all Trainees
• Designing, planning and facilitating the Trainee induction programme every six months
• Managing international secondments, including visas and other administration
• Working with international offices to put in place all arrangements for in-bound secondees
• Coordinating Trainee Solicitor mid and end of seat appraisals
• Liaising with L&D and Knowledge Management teams to identify training needs
• Attending law fairs and presenting at Open Days and other events
• Assisting with screening of online application forms for Open Days, Vacation Schemes and TCs
• Assisting with the running of all Assessment Centres
• Assisting with the planning and facilitation of Vacation Schemes
• Assisting with design, planning and implementation of Solicitor Apprenticeships programme
• Monitoring Early Careers inbox and support with answering external queries
• Assisting HR team with in-bound client secondments at Trainee Solicitor level

Requirements as a Senior Early Careers Adviser:

• Experience of working at Adviser level in professional services, ideally within the legal sector
• Previous Early Careers experience, ideally gained from a law firm
• Strong team player
• Ability to build strong internal and external relationships
• Excellent organisation skills
• Highly skilled on all MS Office applications
• Ability to be flexible to meet the demands of the work
