Leading US law firm is looking to hire a new Senior Events Coordinator to assist in the execution of London and international events as well as assist with all marketing and business development initiatives in the London office.


Reporting into the Senior Business Development Manager for London, this role will involve in supporting business development representatives on key revenue-generating activities and will help implement events (live and virtual) for the local London office, and sometimes in external venues.


This position is a hybrid working role with a minimum of 3 days in the office (2 remote) however you will need to be available for all events.  Standard hours are 9:30am to 6pm with salary of up to 65k.


The Senior Events Coordinator duties will include:


  • Work with international partners, the Associate Director for International and BD Managers to develop, coordinate, and execute events from concept to completion for the international offices that align with the Firm’s business development strategy, including, but not limited to, client dinners, client appreciation events, client presentations and seminars, industry/conference sponsorships and client entertainment.
  • Work with international partners, the Associate Director for International, and BD Managers to develop, plan and execute marketing campaigns that align with the Firm’s business development strategy.
  • Work with the London, European, Middle East and Singapore offices to execute events as appropriate.
  • Manage updates to marketing collateral and branding tools for the international offices.
  • Develop, coordinate, and aid in execution of all internal events including, but not limited to: office/departmental celebrations, staff appreciation events, internal training programs such as departmental and office-centric seminars/meetings/luncheons/events, and other events as assigned.
  • Develop and manage logistics for large conferences/seminars and coordinate audio/visual technology, entertainment, floor plans, seating arrangements, staffing, décor, catering, etc.
  • Manage invitation campaigns and mailings, including development of invitation content, communication timelines, correspondence, RSVP and various pre and post event metric reporting to internal and external stakeholders.
  • Responsible for planning and coordinating all logistics associated with events (i.e. content distribution, following on-site CLE guidelines, promotional material orders, on-site name badges, shipment of materials, agenda creation/maintenance, etc.) • Lead event meetings, make recommendations and provide regular updates to stakeholders by sharing event schedule and logistics with relevant parties (internal and external) • Develop, manage, and maintain event budgets as well as forecast event spend and submit post event debriefs with stakeholders.


Candidates require:


  • Minimum of 3 years events management experience in a law firm as well as a confident understanding of the wider marketing and business development functions in a close knit team.
  • Excellent oral and written communication skills.
  • Experience using CRM systems, such as Interaction and Vuture as well as event-related software such as Cvent and On24.
  • Proficiency in Microsoft Office Suite.
