Our boutique litigation law firm is looking to recruit a new paralegal, who ideally has already secured a Training Contract, to join them on an initial 6 month fixed term contract with the view of being extended up until your Training Contract or next step in your education starts, so this is a fantastic opportunity should you be looking to gain Paralegal experience in a fantastic firm the interim.
Training Contract Paralegal duties will include drafting and preparing correspondence, court applications, and other documents, such as witness statements and instructions to counsel from instructions given to them by their supervisor, reviewing and analysing documents for preparation of disclosure preparing hearing and counsel bundles, providing legal research that may be required by the Partners or Solicitors, attending to clients, counsel and third parties both in person and on the telephone and to provide such communication in a professional and friendly manor in keeping with the practice’s standards for client care, administering the filing system which with include daily filing and opening, closing storage and retrieval of client files in accordance with the detailed procedures, arranging for all copying of documents to be carried out.
Training Contract Paralegal applicants should have strong written and verbal communication skills and have the ability to work well in a team, preferably with some litigation or document review experience.
The salary for this role will be up to £31,000 pro rata + overtime with the office being based in the heart of Mayfair.
