Tuesday – Thursday Office Services Assistant – Top City Law Firm – Shift Work Part-time

A prestigious UK law firm is looking to hire a new Office Services Assistant to work on a part-time basis, working Tuesday, Wednesday and Thursday on a permanent basis.  This role will be to work both 8am – 5pm and 9am – 6pm with stunning offices being housed in the city and would be a perfect opportunity for someone who can only work three days per week. A salary of up to £28,000 FTE is on offer plus fantastic benefits.

 

Responsibilities will include:

  • Opening and distribution of Royal Mail and Internal Mail within a targeted timescale
  • Distribution of Newspapers, magazines and periodicals
  • Photocopying, Scanning, Binding
  • Preparing and presentation of documents and bundles
  • Co-ordination, storage & administration of archiving and retrieval
  • Collection and distribution of office mail and photocopy requests within rota timetable
  • Willingness to do overtime, evening and some weekends
  • Stationery – maintaining stock levels, distribution and ordering
  • Booking and logging couriers
  • Outdoor clerking duties such as; Byhands, taking post to the Royal Mail
  • Setting up of meeting rooms
  • Confident to undertake first line IT duties
  • Other ad hoc duties as may be required from time to time
  • Franking of mail

Candidates must be able to work Tuesday – Thursday only with a professional attitude – previous experience within this field is not necessary, however excellent interpersonal, communication and organisational skills is a must.  Standard hours are 8am – 5pm and 9am – 6pm with a salary of £28,000 FTE on offer.
