Leading US law firm based in the City with stunning benefits and stunning offices is looking to hire a new Administrative Assistant to assist with the provision of an exceptional, proactive and detail conscious service to the Legal Secretarial team. The firm is more than happy to hire someone who has just left either college, university or school who is looking to start working asap, ideally with previous customer services/part-time job experience – however attitude will be key to this hire, someone who is easy-going, hardworking, proactive plus being strong on Microsoft Office and has the attitude of no job too big or too small! Duties and responsibilities will include hard copy filing, e-filing, scanning and photocopying of correspondence and documents, time entry and expense report preparation, national and International travel arrangements and the related sourcing and booking of hotels and transport, preparation of itineraries, screening all telephone calls as appropriate, management of received communications, efficiently managing own workload; be proactive with the ability to work on own initiative, proofreading and quality checks on all work produced, building good working relationships with all personnel and other third-parties, establishing administrative systems that help support the team, establishing own information systems and provide cover for other members of the team in the event of absence. Standard hours are 9:30 – 17:30, with the office being a very short walk from all City based mainline train stations. Even though applicants do not need experience the firm will look at applicants who have worked full-time and are still at the start of their career as this is very much a role for applicants without experience. Applicants must have at least 5 grade A-C (9-6) GCSEs.
