Damian Larbey

Director

Damian is a founding Director of Larbey Evans, responsible for strategic recruitment initiatives, working with boutique firms through to Magic Circle. Having assisted with the set-up of City based “start-up” law firms in recent years (as well as the organisational restructuring within established firms), Damian offers consultative advice surrounding remuneration, best practice, testing, software design and methodology. Damian leads regular market overviews, producing informed literature on key “hot” topics. Our clients look upon Damian as a trusted advisor for large scale Document Reviews – engaging English and Foreign Qualified lawyers within complex, multi-jurisdictional litigation matters whilst also being a contact for recruitment of all legal support and administrative staff for London, Europe and Middle Eastern offices. Jack Waldron

Director of Recruitment

Jack with over 10 years’ service at Larbey Evans is Director of Recruitment. Specialist areas of expertise include executive search and selection for confidential roles, especially at Director, Head of Department and Senior Management level (London, regionally and globally), in addition to recruiting for all Business Services areas including Human Resources, Business Development, Compliance, Finance and Executive/Personal Assistants. Jack successfully combines consultant team and operational management with client recruitment, and is responsible for the hiring, training and development of internal team members. Jack offers an esteemed law firm pedigree having worked within HR, Fee-earner, Graduate and Business Services Recruitment at 3 pre-eminent US law firms in London. On the candidate side, with Jack’s wealth of experience, he has built a strong network of candidates at all levels, offering candid career advice, interview coaching and technical CV advice.

Cora Firth

Operations Manager

Cora returned to Larbey Evans in February 2022 to provide support to the business as Operations Manager. She has previously worked in generalist HR roles within a leading US law firm and in economic consulting, so has experience of recruiting across business support functions as well as implementing and applying processes and procedures within an organisation. CIPD qualified, Cora has a solid understanding of Human Resourcing and how to apply best practice to improve processes and ensure efficiency. This experience combined with her understanding of recruitment and the legal industry makes her well-placed to assist Larbey Evans in achieving our business objectives.

Tom is a Recruitment Team Leader at Larbey Evans with over 10 years’ experience predominantly in Business Support recruitment within Legal and Professional Services. During his career he has worked with Magic Circle, Silver Circle, Global and National law firm clients as well as having worked with the ‘Big 4’ in the accountancy industry – with a strong focus on assisting firms with their respective Business Support model restructuring for both retaining existing and attracting new talent.
