HR Coordinator

Highly regarded US law firm is recruiting a HR Coordinator who is passionate about people and driven to excel in the legal industry. We’re looking for candidates who can confidently take ownership of core HR processes and support the full range of employee lifecycle.

HR Coordinator – What You’ll Be Doing:

  • Coordinate employee lifecycle changes, including promotions, transfers, secondments and departures, managing leaver administration and conducting ad hoc exit interviews
  • Provide first-line support for routine employee queries relating to HR policies, benefits and procedures
  • Coordinate employee relations processes with HR Managers, including investigations, disciplinary and grievance matters
  • Coordinate pre-employment screening, reference checks and background investigations with the HR Assistant
  • Manage new joiner onboarding and orientation in liaison with internal teams and external providers
  • Coordinate visa and immigration processes, including applications, extensions and sponsorship requirements, as well as international transfers and secondments, in partnership with HR Managers, relevant stakeholders and external immigration counsel
  • Coordinate annual performance review and appraisal processes in partnership with HR Managers
  • Coordinate UK benefits administration, including annual renewal and open enrolment, in partnership with the HR Managers and Benefits Broker

HR Coordinator – What We’re Looking For:

  • 4+ years’ generalist HR experience gained within a law firm
  • Working knowledge of UK employment law and HR best practice
  • Ability to handle confidential information with discretion
  • CIPD qualified or working towards CIPD accreditation preferred
