Benefits Specialist

Our Private & Investment Banking client is seeking a driven and adaptable Benefits Specialist on a rolling 12-month fixed-term contract.

  • Salary to £60,000 + 15-20% Completion Bonus!
  • 12-month fixed-term contract on a rolling basis
  • 09:30-17:30 Monday-Friday + hybrid working (3 days office / 2 days remote)

This role is responsible for the end-to-end administration of employee benefits in London and Frankfurt, including policy renewals, payroll support, and employee communications, ensuring accurate and compliant delivery across multiple benefit programmes.

Benefits Specialist Key Responsibilities:

• Act as the primary contact for London and Frankfurt benefits brokers and vendors.
• Coordinate monthly payroll for London and Frankfurt via Workday.
• Respond to employee queries regarding benefits, providing clear and accurate information.
• Accurately update benefit portals with employee elections, particularly for new joiners, leavers, and following the annual healthcare benefits renewal (London & Frankfurt).
• Issue pensions promise enrolment documentation to eligible employees (Frankfurt).
• Send annual reports to benefits providers and brokers as required.
• Support the Associate Director in managing the annual renewal process for healthcare, PHI, and Life Assurance benefits in partnership with Mercer.
• Collaborate with the GIB HR Manager to manage the annual non-forgivable loan and bonus programme.
• Lead the coordination of annual payroll audits for both London and Frankfurt, ensuring all necessary documentation is prepared and maintained in accordance with audit requirements.

Benefits Specialist Skills & Requirements:

• 3+ years of Payroll & Benefits Administration is essential.
• Familiarity with healthcare, pension, life assurance, and other employee benefits schemes across UK and ideally Germany.
• Experience working with brokers and vendors to resolve issues and maintain service levels.
• Competence in using HRIS platforms (preferably Workday) for payroll administration, benefits enrolments, and reporting.
• Payroll knowledge.
