Business Services Assistant

We’re looking for a proactive and motivated Business Services Assistant to join one of our leading US law firm clients – a fantastic opportunity that could open doors to a long-term career within one of the most prestigious firms in the City!

• Salary to £32,000 + generous employee benefits, including free breakfast and lunch every day!
• 09:30-17:30 working hours and office based (Monday-Friday)
• Chancery Lane / Blackfriars / City Thameslink

In this role, you’ll deliver a variety of business support services, assisting with the firm’s day-to-day operations across facilities, reception, and general administration

Business Services Assistant Key Responsibilities:

• Provide administrative assistance to lawyers and the business services teams.
• Welcoming visitors, determining the nature of business, and announcing visitors to appropriate personnel, ensuring a professional and client focused approach.
• Organize, schedule, and coordinate all requests for conference floor room bookings.
• Ensure room set ups are complete with all relevant material required, prior to the start of meetings.
• Assists with internal office/workstation moves, including prepares set ups with furniture, equipment, and stationery.
• Delivering and sorting of incoming mail, hourly internal mail rounds, and urgent parcel delivery.
• Sending and tracking international and local couriers.
• Hard copying, digital printing, bible creation, cd burning, binding, lamination.

Business Services Assistant Skills & Requirements:

• Previous administrative experience within a law firm or professional services.
• Focus on producing high quality work with good attention to detail.
• Strong ability to work under pressure handling a busy support role.
• A flexible approach to tasks and willing to work overtime.
• Good IT skills (working knowledge of Microsoft Office) and comfortable learning new systems.
