This Compliance Analyst role is a great opportunity to work directly with the Risk & Compliance Attorney for London with your day-to-day responsibilities including supporting them with all Risk, AML and Compliance related matters.

Compliance Analyst duties will include:

 

  • Carry out client due diligence (CDD) analysis and AML checks for the London office.
  • Conduct sanctions, PEP, adverse media screening on new clients and related parties.
  • Identify and escalate high risk clients, matters, and issues to senior Compliance members or to the Money Laundering Reporting Officer (MLRO).
  • Communicate daily with Partners, Fee Earners, Client Service Specialists and other departments in relation to AML matters.
  • Maintain the Firm’s internal AML database of CDD information in line with regulations, Firm policy and industry best practice.
  • Assist the RCA and senior members of the Compliance team to prepare high risk client reports and maintain the high risk client register.
  • Participate in software updates and enhancements.
  • Maintain knowledge and awareness of changes in AML regulations. Prepare monthly AML updates/alerts for circulation amongst the Compliance team.
  • Assist the RCA with policy updates and drafting.
  • Assist the RCA with research of regulatory developments from time to time.

 

Compliance Analyst applicants must have 18 months / 2 years’ experience with strong education and a proactive and hardworking attitude as this role will be busy and you will be able to develop and grow in the role to forge a successful career.
