Reporting to the Director of Conflicts Services (global) and COLP & MLRO (UK), the Conflicts & AML Analyst will assist with conflicts searching and AML clearances associated with new business intake, lateral hires, and business development across the firm.

Key Responsibilities of the Conflicts & AML Analyst:

  • Support the identification, analysis, and resolution of actual and potential conflicts of interest relating to new business, lateral hires, and Business Development initiatives.
  • Liaise with Partners, Associates, Conflicts Attorneys, the Director of Conflicts, and the General Counsel’s Office to ensure timely conflict clearance and approval.
  • Utilise conflict search and reporting tools to identify and communicate potential conflicts to relevant lawyers and firm personnel.
  • Prepare and distribute conflict and related reports across all levels of the firm.
  • Assist with Know Your Client (KYC) processes, including due diligence research, sanctions and PEP screening, adverse media checks, and other compliance reviews under the Money Lundering Regulations.

Skills & Requirements of the Conflicts & AML Analyst:

  • 2+ years of demonstrated legal conflicts of interest and AML researching, identification, and resolution experience in the Business Acceptance Department of a major law firm.
  • Experience with InTapp Open/Conflicts and LegalKey highly preferred.
  • Demonstrated ability to research corporate ownership through public sources and related software like Capital IQ preferred.
  • Experience with lateral conflicts clearances a plus.
