Larbey Evans is partnering with top UK law firm to recruit an experienced HR Assistant or Coordinator, with a payroll and benefits emphasis, to step into this exciting Payroll & Reward Adviser position.

The scope of this role is to support the Head of Reward & Benefits with monthly payroll processes and reward and benefits administration. You will play an integral part in the annual salary and bonus review process and the annual benefits renewal alongside Senior HR Systems and MI Analyst.

Payroll & Reward Adviser Key Responsibilities:

  • Be a super-user of the HR, payroll, and benefits system, acting as the first point of contact for day-to-day queries relating to pay and benefits
  • Assist the Head of Reward & Benefits in the monthly payroll and benefits checking, the annual benefits renewal and the annual salary and bonus reviews
  • Oversee the Reward and HRIS Assistant, collate and coordinate the data transfer to the payroll provider and then provide first review of the annual P11D file
  • Working with the Head of Reward & Benefits to develop and implement the Reward strategy
  • Research new benefits and reward structures including review of staff survey results relating to reward and benefit
  • Review draft salary benchmarking data for annual salary reviews (and Recruitment team queries for pre-offer stage salary checks)

Payroll & Reward Adviser Skills & Requirements:

  • Must have previous Reward and Benefits or HR experience at Assistant / Coordinator level within a law firm
  • Previous experience with Payroll is essential
  • Qualified to GCSE standard, Grade B (or equivalent) in Mathematics and English is essential
