One of London’s most rapidly expanding US law firms are keen to hire a highly efficient and organised Senior Revenue & Billing Specialist to join their impressive Mayfair office and be part of a new exciting chapter in the firm’s plans.
The firm has acquired new senior Partners to spearhead the firm’s growth outside of the US and have exciting plans to hire across all their London offices’ practice and business groups over the next few years.
This is a newly created role would suit a seasoned Revenue Controller / Billing / E-Billing Specialist (preferably all 3!). You will have some great exposure long term, reporting into and directly supporting the Revenue Manager in London, working on a range of projects and process improvements whilst continuing to establish their growing London Finance team of 10 (revenue team of 4 including this hire).
The Senior Revenue & Billing Specialist Role
This is a fantastic opportunity for someone with at least 5 years of billing, ebilling and revenue experience within a law firm who has a commercial approach to dealing with multiple Partner deadlines and queries. You will have a confident understanding of standard billing practices and procedures, onboarding new clients and the confidence to support the Revenue Manager in delivering a five star billing and collections service to the Partners in the London office.
A flexible approach is essential as you will be part of a fast-paced and busy environment, managing a variety of priorities and responsibilities – from preparing bills and invoices, reviewing time and disbursements records, to compiling monthly and transactional reports for billing attorney review.
The role requires a calm and professional demeanour, with the ability to complete work in a timely manner while liaising with Partners, Associates, and clients. You’ll be expected to respond to queries related to billing accuracy, invoices, write-offs, narrative amendments, and other ad hoc requests or special projects.
Confident working knowledge of Aderant and various ebilling platforms in a law firm would be highly advantageous for this role.
