Legal Administrator – Corporate, Film & TV

 

A top UK law firm who is renowned for their high-profile media and entertainment offering, is hiring a new Legal Administrator to support their Corporate, Film & TV teams on a permanent basis.

The Legal Administrator will support the groups with general administration tasks and assist with streamlining processes.

 

  • Salary to £28,000

  • 9.30am – 5.30pm

 

Responsibilities for the Legal Administrator- Corporate, Film & TV:

 

  • Provides general administration support for the groups’, ensuring work is completed efficiently and within set deadlines.
  • Assists with the file opening and closing processes.
  • Assists with photocopying and scanning.
  • Assists with all aspects of the billing process and accounting processes, including claiming expenses.
  • Maintains client files both electronically and in hard copy where required, including sorting, collating and filing emails and correspondence/documents.
  • Manages processes using the firm’s network IT systems and databases, including Filesite, Aderant, and Microsoft Office.
  • Liaising with other departments including Compliance and Finance.
  • Manages workload issues; takes ownership of enquiries and ensures any issues are referred/delegated to the appropriate person and dealt with in a timely fashion.
  • Provides ad hoc support to the groups as required

 

Key Requirements for the Legal Administrator- Corporate, Film & TV:

 

  • Previous experience within a busy law firm is preferable or One year’s administration experience in a similar role
  • Excellent IT skills
  • Good numeracy skills
  • Excellent time management and organisational skills and strong attention to detail
  • Works well under pressure ,Adaptable and flexible
  • Team player and outgoing, enthusiastic, hard-working, and confident
  • The capability to keep matters confidential
  • Positive and proactive approach to your work and flexibility as to hours and the role itself
