E-Billing Specialist – US Law Firm – City of London

This US law firm based in stunning office space located in the heart of the City are seeking to hire a new eBilling Specialist to join their busy Finance team in the London office.

 

Salary 50-60k DOE & Benefits package

Standard hours 9.30am to 5.30pm, 3 days in the office and 2 days remote

3 years previous ebilling experience required

 

The eBilling Specialist will provide ebilling support to all Partners and Fee Earners globally, including researching ebilling related issues, preparing and distributing ebilling proformas, invoices, and ebilling related reports. The eBilling Specialist will work with the eBilling teams in London and the US to proactively advise Partners to discuss ongoing ebilling matters and ensure that all transactions are recorded according to accounting standards.

eBilling Specialist Responsibilities:

 

  • Onboarding clients’ onto the eBilling platform, ensuring that eBills are promptly uploaded and that rejections and queries are dealt with efficiently by close liaising with the Revenue team, PAs and Partners.
  • Working directly with wider teams and vendors to implement new eBilling platforms ensuring integration with their PMS
  • Act as main point of contact and oversee eBilling Mailbox
  • Liaise with Revenue Controllers and PAs on the re-submission of invoices to ensure any corrective action has taken place
  • Ensure policies and compliance procedures are maintained at all times
  • Attend meetings with eBilling clients to discuss ongoing issues and improve efficiencies

 

Skills as an eBilling Specialist:

 

  • Minimum 3 years previous ebilling experience from a recognised law firm
  • Good working knowledge of various ebilling platforms
  • Strong knowledge of LEDES files
  • Working knowledge of Tableau is a bonus
  • Proven understanding of ebilling in foreign currencies & associated issues
  • Good working knowledge of the SAR and VAT regulations within the UK and internationally
