An exciting opportunity has arisen for a Senior Events Coordinator to join this highly ranked international law firm based in Central London.

 

Offices located next to Liverpool Street

Full time agile working of 3 days in the office and 2 days remote, 9:30am to 5:30pm (with occasional on site after hours event support)

Salary of up to £50,000 and an outstanding benefits package including free lunches on site

 

The role would suit a graduate with 3 years’ experience working in a law firm, as a Marketing Assistant / Events Assistant OR Coordinator supporting on the organisation of the annual internal and external events calendar.

 

Reporting to the Events Manager, the purpose of the role is to provide an efficient and professional Events service to the firm and clients. The Events Coordinator will be responsible for planning, managing and running the firms’ annual events programme. This includes being present onsite at events to ensure high quality and smooth running.

 

The Senior Events Coordinator will be responsible for:

  • Coordinate the planning and logistics of in person and online events, and leading on smaller events
  • Being present onsite at events to ensure high quality and smooth running
  • Management of the events newsletter
  • Uploading events to the firms events calendar and monitor the London Events inbox and action where necessary
  • Recording client data and uploading event details onto InterAction and One Place
  • Being an ambassador for the firm on event best practice. Promoting and creating awareness of the events team. Being a point of contact for consulting on events processes and general guidance.
  • Raising invoices correctly and sending for payment by their due date
  • Maintaining communication with key stakeholders and suppliers throughout an events lifecycle
  • Gaining the trust and credibility of fee-earners in relation to managing their events
  • Staying abreast of competitor activity, new event industry developments and maintaining external supplier relationships

The Senior Events Coordinator requirements include;

 

  • 3 years events / marketing experience within a law firm
  • Self-motivated individual, with strong IT and CRM database skills
  • Highly organised and can keep to strict deadlines
