Client Development Manager

Leading London law firm is looking for a Client Development Manager to help embed and evolve a firmwide approach to client and referrer relationship management. Working closely with the Senior Client Experience Manager, partners and the wider Business Development team, you’ll drive the delivery of strategic client and referrer initiatives, ensuring consistency, momentum and measurable impact across the firm.

Client Development Manager – What You’ll Be Doing:

  • Support partners in building and strengthening relationships with key clients and referrers
  • Manage a portfolio of priority accounts, ensuring account plans are delivered and actions progressed
  • Coordinate client and referrer activity across teams to ensure a consistent, joined-up approach
  • Support the development and continuous improvement of the firm’s client and referrer programmes
  • Prepare account plans, partner briefings and updates to drive effective relationship management
  • Gather and analyse client data to provide insights, reporting and recommendations that support growth
  • Support the development and effective use of CRM systems and relationship management tools
  • Build strong relationships with partners and business services teams, providing coordination and reducing administrative burden
  • Identify opportunities to improve client experience, strengthen relationships and mitigate risk
  • Champion best practice and help embed a consistent, strategic approach to client relationship management across the firm

Client Development Manager – What We’re Looking For:

  • 3-5 years’ experience in a Client Relationship role within a law firm
  • Confidence working with senior stakeholders, including partners
  • A proactive and commercially minded approach, with an passion for client development and relationship management
  • Strong analytical skills, with the ability to turn data and insight into practical recommendations
